I've been out of car audio for years now and feel clueless after looing through some threads on here. I want to replace the stock speakers in my 02 acura tl. I was looking at Diamond Audio D661i for the front doors, mostly becuase i wouldnt have to mount the tweeter in the door seperate etc.. I was also thinking about leaving the rear door speakers stock and just focusing on a nice loud front stage. I have no idea on an amp to use. Just askin for some help really.

I really like the sound of the JL Audio component systems. The VR650-CSi can be found for around $200. Link: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_components.php?comp_id=127

If you wanted to stick with one company, you can match the speakers with a JL 300/2v2. Link: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=436

I've actually installed this exact system in a TL and it sounded awesome. Loud, crisp, detailed and clean. I'm not sure what your price range is, but it's always good to stick with companies that you know and have good warranties/customer service.

I'm really just looking for something that will get really loud and still have a clean, crisp sound when turned up. As far as price i dont really dont want to go over $300 for the component set and im not sure about the amp yet.
