Topic: Weirdest problem I've ever encountered...
I just recently purchased some Pioneer D-Series 6x9's. I installed them about a week ago in my 2004 Pontiac Grand AM GT. They worked fine. Yesterday I noticed that the left speaker wasn't working but the right one was working fine. After a little more investigation I realized that the right one would only turn on if i hit it softly with my hand. The left had the positive wire hooked up and would only work if i touched the negative to my cars negative wire. Not hooked it up, just touched it. Has anyone else encountered this problem before? HELP ME! -------------------- Lerrin

04GT. Yup, you most likely have a factory amp. The fix could get a lil too complicated to walk through online. Find an experienced installer that knows how to troubleshoot. Chili- I couldn't agree with you more. As frustrating as it may be, it's the nature of the beast. I don't understand how it's expected that we tip waitstaff whenever we go out to dinner but yet after providing specialized service on a vehicle we usually get a "cool, thanks buddy". -------------------- Yes this is my sig, no there is nothing for you to see. Quit looking at me, nothing is going to happen. Stop staring at me, cut it out, leave me alone....
