i have a pair of boston acoustics components and one of them keeps cutting out. i made sure all of the speaker connections were good and to my knowledge they all look good. the speaker will sometimes cut out and then i have to turn it all the way up for it to come back on and then i can turn it back down and it will be alright for a while. when it comes back on it makes a crackle and then it sounds normal. both the tweeter and the woofer come on and go out simultaneously. i did not know if it could be the amp or the x-over. i have not gotten a chance to switch the speakers around on the amp to see if the other one goes out but i will try when i get a chance. any suggestions welcomed.
