Do you guys know of any Mfg out there who makes a small mid-tweeter pod?(In a tiny box)

Rockford used to make one that we used to call a "Canned Ham" with a 3.5 mid and 1/2 inch tweet...
anyone make anything like this anymore?

Thanks!

I think Eclipse has one.

You could always just make your own.

yea, I seen that...but that's not what I'm after.

I'm looking for pods with an enclosure, like the old rockford canned hams. that's why they called em' canned, they were in a tiny box, the eclipse setup is just a normal plate speaker setup.

You can either make our own or look for something from partsexpress.com, a lot of home audio mid/tweeters have their own sealed enclosure.

Just curious, why do you want such a thing? It's not hard to find a place to install a plate speaker, since they don't require an enclosure of any sort.

Like I previously said, I dont have the time to build them. I travel a lot now with my job.

yea, I know how to install a plate speaker too, I wish it was as easy as dropping them in, but they won't work for my application I have to have enclosed pods for mounting in the rear corners of my cab. There are no stock speakers there or possble mounting locations for plates, coaxes, ect...has to be external; thus I need small enclosed pods. but Nobody seems to make em anymore.

Everything I seen in Parts Express was too big...man, I miss a lot of the old stuff
