i was wondering if using multiple 6.5" mdf rings stack up with one acting as a back, would this be an effective enclosure for a door. i would also like to do this with my 4" midrange. thank you. the 6.5" is about 2.5" depth, and the 4 about 1.75" depth heres a little something i came up with [ 6.5" ] [ 6.5" ] [solid ] <---this last one would not have a hole it will be solid. not sure you would be gaining much...90% of car audio drivers are designed to work free air...so putting them in an unusually small enclosure will normally give you a horrible frequency response...if your having output issues..give your driver a thick sturdy baffle and make sure the door is well dampn'd both inside, outside and on the actual panel itself.. now the 4 is a different subject most work well from anywere from a .1 to a .5 enclosure but even they can also work well free air -------------------- Team Zapco, Team Raamat, Team Yo Moma, Team Werewolf, Team JKLabs, Team Audionutz...

I think those are the T2Xs...not a bad metal dome. There were some things on the home forums about taming them. -------------------- Team Image Dynamics/Zapco/Werewolf/JK Lab Team Kinetik Sick Bastard Audio SQ Who feels it knows it
