Can you use polarized caps, or do they have to be non-polarized? I hooked a 220uF 35v cap to my home system and it worked like I thought it would, it took the bass out of the speaker [Big Grin] .
My head unit is 25 watts rms x4. What is the minimun voltage cap I can use?

you need non polarised, or bi polar...
