worth the money? i heard them in tweeter the other day and they sounded pretty sweet. after sound deadening my doors and such could i get the depth and mid-bass i could be looking for?
im looking for some really nice punchy mid-bass and some depth to my sound stage...
i currently have alpine type-s comps installed, they sound good, but i don't have my doors deadened so im probably not getting the mid-bass i should be getting and they do not cut it for depth. i have a kicker 200.2 to them producing 75x2 to them. if anyone can help that would be great.
p.s. could anyone help me or tell me with how to get the best sound from comps in doors and the tweeters being in the sail panel. im gettin a new headunit with time correction and bbe processor in it so that should help a little as well... sorry this turned out soo long...any help is appreciated.

I listened to the against the Boston pro60 Series and Kenwood exelon all 6.5" componets and the JL's sucked, they have a better Tweet than the Kenwoods, but he Bostons just plain sounded better across the board.

The Overall sound Q was the best of the three listed above, But the Kenwoods had fantastic Midrange output, while the Bostons sounded very tight.
They where all in a wall in a showroom, so incar would be diffrent.

I've heard the speakers listed by 1fastkingcab, and I would take the JL's every day of the week--not even a close question to me.
You heard the JL's. The others are widely available. Go listen and buy what you like. If you are going to buy online though---don't go to local shops and waste their time. Just guess and buy whatever set you want.

I agree 100% (except on the JL speaker J/K) don't got waste a shops time just to walk out and buy the same speakers online, the money you save Is what should have been spent on the sales persosns advice and know how.
