wondering what some good speakers are to put in the door of an s10, looking to spend around 400-500 dollars. dont mind losing a little loudness for sq. i had looked at the kicker rs but dont know,anyone had them?

I am doing the same thing and was about to post this exact post.

I am looking at a few for my S-10

I like the MB-Quart QSD-216 although they are bright for what I like and will probably swap the MBQ tweet out for a sild CDT unit.

I will also Bi amp.

If you're gonna swap out the tweets then just buy the QSD 164's. It's the exact same driver that the 216's come with (without the tweet). Martin

I replaced boston pro 6.5 with Mb Quart and am happier now.
