i have 2 crossovers from a set of s500a diamond comp set. is it possible to use these crossovers with the lower model s400a mids, and tweets, without damageing the speakers? also if this is possible what amp diamond would be the best to power the s400a? was thinkin d5 range??? thankx for ur time peeps!

those xovers will be just fine...won't damage the speakers at all. only difference will be a higher xover point for the mid. tweet will play just the same.

as for amps -- don't want to overpower the set. anything with > 75v on the rails is venturing into overkill.

if you're set on diamond amps the d6300.4 will sufice. don't need anything more.
