i need 4 sets of speaker is it possible to do 4 mirange drivers and 4 tweets with no xovers and just use 1 amp for tweets and 1 amp for midrange or should i just get 2 sets of components with xovers on 1 large amp

It's gonna be tough with the mids. You will need a bandpass crossover. That means you need a lowpass and highpass crossover for the mids alone. Most amps only have highpass OR lowpass. You COULD just use the highpass on the tweets, lowpass on the mids, and just hope the mids will play all the way down without a HPF.

or put some caps inline on the mids (aka bassblockers)

unless all four speakers are going to be up front, I would look into a four channel amp or two, two channel amps. And you would probably want to do the two sets of seperates with crossover unless you have a good active crossover setup. (either outboard or built in the amps)

Caps are only going to give him a 6db roll off. On the bottom end you need more than that IMO...unless you want to cross at 250.
