I was wanting to know what is best 4 channel out there right now that will power my alpine type R midrange speakers right to their max and sound good doing it? I am currently using my CDA-9855 for the amp, but these alpine type R coaxials need more power I am afraid, they need at least 40 to 50 watts rms.....

I'm running a Phoenix Gold Octane R amp. It's Phoenix Gold's entry level amp, but it sounds very good powering my Infinity Kappa's. You may want too look into Phoenix Gold. They make different series amps that are very nice.
