Well I am just curious to what I should do. I currently have Memphis M Class 5x7's in the back of my car, it is a 94' Cougar

I want to get more high's so I was going to add a component set up front but a few people have told me I would be better off just adding a amp to the rear speakers...

I would be adding a amp eventually but as of now I want to get the most of out the high's as possible...

What do you think will make the biggest difference, just adding a amp to the rear speakers or get new speakers up front and get a amp later on. The current head unit is a Panasonic CQ-C7401U which I believe is 50x4 Max according to specs.

Also with this car the same speaker size fits front and back. I know alot of people say to amp the front speakers and that's all you need but I want to get more educated opinions...

If you think I should put a amp on the speakers I currently have, then do you think I should move them to the front and put the stock speakers back in or just leave them out?

Also which 6x8's do you think would be best? Not looking to really spend over $200 at this moment in time. Same question if you suggest amp, what amp do you think will be best on my current Memphis Speakers? This is the information about the current memphis speakers I have.

Sorry for all the questiosn but I am just trying to cover all my bases...Any help would be great appreciated.

put a comp set up front.. and add a four channel amp eventually, te comp set with the movable/possitionable tweet will do wonders, you can put the tweet on top of the dash or in a location where it aims at the middle of the two seats and get great sound as well as pretty loud highs.

x3 If your gonna spend that kind of cash, invest in a component set up front...start saving for some power for them.
