i think you should also try a test. take the speaker wires off one channel of your amp. listen to only 1 side and get used to the loudness. then, mono bridge the amp to that 1 side and see how loud your crystal's can really get.

i just PMed you 95stroked1500, and well ill tell you here too lol, i need to know a good amp to give my Crystal components exactly what they need to do what they should.

im going to hopefully have the test results by 1-2-06, when i take everything to the shop. Ill let you guys know how the crystals take it

ive got 3 sets of z 6 bostons on a us amp 600, way better then my old qsd 216 s quarts, more effecient way better midbass run full pass, with a foam baffle

DIY components using B&C Loudspeakers brand drivers. True measured efficiency in the low to mid nineties for most of their convnentional drivers (they have compression drivers as well). The SQ is great on the drivers that I am currently using. The only drawbacks that I have found is a limited bandwidth and one model (of the three tested) had noise generated by the vented pole piece (increase the size of the holes [there were multiple vents around the perimeter rather than one large hole in the center] and smoooth the openings and the noise disappeared).[ 01-12-2006, 07:49 PM: Message edited by: SSSnake ]

I would go with the Focal POlyglass component set they are 679.00 they are loud and clear as all get out
