I've been toying around with the idea of doing a home speaker (6.5" cabinet) with Dynavox 6.5" mid + either a Vifa, Morel, Dynavox or TB tweeter.

I have experience with Vifa & Morel. I've heard that Dynavox is similar to Dynaudio, but much more affordable. I've heard nothing but good things about TB, but it's been forever and a day since I've heard a TB product.

Your thoughts on the TANG BAND 25-669B 1" Tweeter that I saw over at PartsExpress?

At 8 Ohms, it'd be perfect for a home system, but would it work well in the car too? I thought thatif I like the sound in my home system that I could then perhaps look into putting a similar system in the Montero Sport (akin to the 4Runner or Pathfinder).

Many thanks in advance

I just ordered 60 of them....but can't give you any first-hand experience yet [Eek!] [Big Grin]

its definitely a sizeable chunk of tweeter if you want it in your car

there will more than likely be 20 more back on sale at parts express...although I was assured there were more than enough left at the time of order by 2 separate people....they sent me an email....(after receiving 20 of the 60) that now states the part has been discontinued and I will not recieve the remaining 40....rather dissappointing...
