hey guys. new to the forum and want some advice on components. i got a honda accord 98. right now i got the type s's. those are the only ones i have ever had so i honestly don't know if a better one will actully sound better but im taking everyones word for it. it would make sense right?

anyway, im giving them around 75 rms with an alpine 250. im looking to spend the least amount of money possible. (if i was rich i would have bought those new polks [Smile] )

i wanna do anything under 200.

also i only have about 5 inches until my window hit it so it can't be to deep. (i know sux)

well what yall think. im looking at a used CDT CL-61a pair. how are these?

thanx in advance! [Big Grin]

oh i forgot.

also, i need to know if i can put those tweeters into the same mounting place as the type s's. the type s's came with a little cup to put them in. im hoping that they can fit in those cups so i don't have to modify to much.

anyone have experience with these?

i'd look at crystal for the budget you're on.

Panasonic 8803U
Phaze Audio MW64s + Vifa XT25s
Coustic XM-6
DLS RA20 & RA40
Single Crystal CMP 10

i'd say the crystal sscs6's or the dls r6a's. especially over the cdt's.
