naw...I was just being teh lazy by not giving a full review of my personal experience nor linking other reviews like:
this one
or this one
and this one
So I simply answered his question...

Without knowing his definition of good. What he'd like to hear. What he'd compare them too, etc. Yes, there is always something better. But yes, they are good. [Smile]

burzendowski:

I use them exclusively(sp) when I do an install in one of our local street rods. I did a '38 Chevy sedan a few years ago and now it is all that my older clients ask for. ( they must be great for "Do-Wapp" music, I don't know.)

Seriously, they do sound great, especially for the money.

Hope this helps.

burzendowski:

Having never heard the "RE's" I am not able to give you a true comparison. The focals have nice midbass but nothing I would call spectacular(I love midbass) Also I really don't drive my customers systems to hard because they are an older croud, who really don't jam a system.

sorry.

Whew, those Focal tweeters are enough to drill a hole in someone's head. But the midbass is pretty decent.
