Does anyone know the mounting depth on the JL XR-650cs components?

I wanna say between 2.5 and 2.875 inches. I emailed JL about this along time ago and have since deleted the email. Hopefully this rough estimation will be helpful.

Johnny,

That sounds about right. Most comp sets and co-axials are between 2.5 and 3.25 (that being more like an 8" mid-bass driver for a 3-piece set) inches deep. Although, with the co-axials, you have to worry about Tweeter height, but not a concern with your comp set. I think Johnny had the right measurements. I've e-mailed JL and other audio companies and they replied right-quick, so to double-check, you might want to zap JL with the question - along with others related to the comp set.

Much luck!!
