I am thinking about getting a set of GTO602c components by JBL . Anyone here have these or heard them ? Is JBL's stuff crap ? They are $79.00 on Ebay . Is this a good price ?

The Grand Touring line was JBL's Mid to Top end line a couple years ago. I think they've added another line to compliment their Power subs (are they called the Power series? Forgot and it's too early). They make some very good equipment. I've used their stage equipment and it took all of the abuse I could send them. For car audio, they have always sounded good when I tested them, but to me the Infinity speakers sounded better (but that's me). They are made by Harmon International (JBL, Infinity, Harmon/Kardon [Polk too?]). That's a really good price, but check out Crutchfield for some new stuff with warranties (I know, Crutchfield isn't the favorite site of everyone).

To sum up, from my exp they are a good mid-level speaker. A ton better than factories, but not the top-of-the-line either. Good step-up with room to grow .
