i don't wanna shell out too much for custom kicks. i know the utopias are slighty larger than 6 1/2, being 6 1/2S, but i was more concerned about the mounting depth instead, because i can mount them below the surface instead of on top. is there enough clearance for a 165W woofer to fit? has anyone put focal speakers into qlogic kicks? also how do they sound afterwards, say in comparison to the doors? thanx.

You are looking at Utopias and think that custom kicks cost too much?!?

That's whacked....

And no, they won't fit.

Not a good fit. And also the Utopia are such a high quality system, they certainly warrant a quality custom kickpanel............

Nod, if they fit, it'll be like 10 lbs. of feed in a 5 lb. bag.

I'd either go with custom kicks, doors, or go with a 5.25" version (if they are available). You may have a better chance with the 5.25s fitting.

Good luck
