Well I ordered these the other day and should get them tomorrow. I was wondering what is so good about silk tweeters. They also have ferofluid in them, which helps to cool them down, but by how much. And last of all how well will they sound...anyone?

In my systems, the silk tweeters have not seemed as shrill, to my ears. I think they have a softer sound, but that is not ideal for all applications.
Ferrofluid should help out quite a bit, the less you notice it the better it's doing its job!! It'd probably not be effected much without it, but you'll be able to send more power to them since they are liquid cool - Ferrofluid.
I'm not a Pioneer fan myself, but you should have a very nice sounding tweeter on your hand.
