I've not heard anything one way or another on any JBC products. Was it Marathon that was a partner/spin off of them with a sub-line? If so, they got some decent marks from the mags on a couple subs, if memory serves me correctly.

They are probably a mid-level quality equipment, not great (PPI, McIntosh, RF, MTX, Orion, PG, etc.), but not horrible either (Bargain Basement / Flea Market). If they sound good to you, then get them. But, audition others in / around your price range too.

Hopefully, someone with some JBC exp will emerge to help you better . Just remember, there was a time when no-one wanted to give Crossfire / Paramount or Audiobahn the time of day, because they were not RF, MTX, PG, PPI, etc.
