Hmm- The point source coaxial's, you mean? They sound pretty good, however the tweeter definately lacks.... something, IMO. They're easily biampable, however, which is a GOOD thing !!!!, so you could turn them tweets up a bit.

The midrange is good quality, and is really good for cars because its design includes a reduced on-axis focus from the start.

I got a pair for my father-in-law and he loves them!!! We originally got them for my mother-in-law's Astro van for a present, but she didn't want to hassle (not that she'd have had to do anything, but I really don't want to P-off my mom-in-law ), so we put them in an old set of 6.5" Yorx towers and powered them off of his home receiver. They sounded very very nice!!! I had them running in conjunction with my 8" Infinity Studio-Monitor series bookshelf speakers and they kept up ver nicely.

IMO, they are a great mid-priced speaker that keep up with Kappas and the like. Are there better out there? Sure, but for the cost, they made my father-in-law and me very happy!!

Hope this helps,

UB
