The Dynaudio's are the best set i have ever heard. To me it seems that the Diamonds only sound good when the mid is sealed.... I used to use them free-air and they sounded horrible in my opinion. (the 1998 models) As for the MB Quarts I would only suggest the Q-series but I believe they only come in 2-way sets. The referenz's seem too harsh in my opinion.

The a/d/s fronts are pretty nice, and expensive. I think like 1500 a pair. I'm not sure if they have the 3 way or not, but I'm sure they do. For that amount of money they better.

Those A/D/S components are sweet, I know a guy who is running two sets, really big tweeter. Chitwood they are 2-way, and I think they are hand made.
