i bought a 200x4 punch amp and i put an rockford componet set to it so i was wondering what kind of mids are the best, i would like to put an 8inch mid in each door, thanks for the help
Assuming they fit, why not just use Rockford? The Punch 8's have a moderately small motor structure and should drop in with a little work... Illusion audio makes some 8's that would work even better, however they're very expensive.

Nod to SS. RF makes some excellent 8s. So do most of the other big names. I've used the Kicker Impulse 8s before and they did a wonderful job for the low price. I've heard good things about CV-Stealth IIIs in that type of application, but haven't used them myself, yet. I'd also look into: Crossfire, Audiobahn, and AudioArt in addition to the obvious biggies: JL, MTX, Infinity, Polk, CV, RF, PG, Orion (their 6.5s and 8" MidBass drivers are EXCELLENT), etc.
