Damn, it has been a long time! I gotta come back here more
I was thinking of placing a pair of components in either side of the steering wheel up on the dash, kind of like a home theatre setup, and put a single one on the dash on the passenger side in the same place, near the rear view mirror. I want to use a toggle switch to toggle between the two driver's side speakers (for me only) or the two far side speakers (person sitting in passenger seat). Would having the two speakers on either side of the steering wheel only increase the quality of the imaging and other factors? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I don't know for sure because the seat obviously isn't in the center of the car so reflections could be a problem...

If its a center channel you're wanting, then check out the one made by eclipse....it mounts on the rear-view mirror. It sounds great. www.eclipse-web.com
