I have a headunit P930 with 6.5 volts non- clipping preouts. I have a dynaudio 240 and I'm giving them 100+ watts a side with zapco reference 350.
I'm using the passives that came with it. My problem is that it's simply not loud. Sure it sounds freaking good but my ears can take 10 times more than this.
Now i'm trying to go with ACTIVE setup and need some advice on how to do so and what cautions I should take on doing this. I will be using a audiocontrol 4xs. I'm planning to give MD100 a 100+ watts a side with the zapco350 and 175+ watts a side for the mids with zapco750. Is this too much? Am I going to blow anything? Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

I run my Dynaudio's on a RF Power 800a4 amp using the front channel. (150W) Sub is bridged on rear. I'm planning on using a Monoblock for the sub. Then I will run them bridged on the 800a4. Should have enough power then.

Well, I'm powering it with zapco reference 350 which is rated 100 watts per channel and 330 watts briged but real tested power on my birth sheet says 597 watts. So I should be giving them around 150 watts a side. I don't know why it's not loud. 2 guage power/ground and 135 amp alt, and just a single zapco amp. It should be loud but it isn't!!! what's up with that.

I've seen Dyns take 250wrms like it was nothing I had like 300 going to them and they were fine, but check and make sure you gains are set right

get a real amp that can put out 300watts rms...like a xtant 604x bridged.
i had a bridged xtant 404 and that wasn't enough...very dissapointing
simply get some real power and be happy
I Second that !
