i have a chance to buy some used mb quart rsd-216's for $75 bux shipped...... they would be a great component set for the price. but theres a possibility i wont be able to get the money to him in time. Anyways, heard Focal on a wall. And I wanna spend like 300 buxish for some comps. People say just go buy the DD 6.5 inch midbass, and the vifa xt25 tweeter an a x-over and call it good. Well ive been thinking about that, and how do you mount the vifa xt25 tweeter, it looks kinda hard to mount in my door.....Ive also thought about just buyin a Focal Polykevlar 165K2 comp set, and calling it good. But then I feel like maybe i could get some better sound another way. Soooo 3 choices.......
1. really try and get them mb quarts for 75 bux shipped
2.dd 6.5 midbass and vifa tweeter (btw what kinda x-over do i need, send me a link to one that would work)
3. focal polykevlar 165k2?

from what I've been told the DDs are great mids so I would look into those, I don't think Focals sound as good with out a Focal tweet and x-over
