Would the scan speak aperiodic vents sold on Madisound and Partsexpress be a good match for an Oz 8? I have been told that if you do an aperiodic enclosure you have to tune the membrane to match the driver. Scanspeaks appear to be nontuneable, just pop them in and listen. I need to know what the rule is for tuning an AP membrane. Also, what size should the enclosure in the door be? I have been told that with an AP the smaller the better. Anyway, anyone with experience please let me know of anything to look out for.

They should work. Personally, I'd save the hassle and run them IB in the doors...Steve Head suggested that to me, and it worked well.

There is a great AP tutorial on Elite Car Audio by Steve Head...look for Audionutz on AP...or something like that.

If you go to "Subs & Enclosures" and look for the post:
"How do you build an aperiodic enclosure?"
You will find some helpful links.

Cheers!
