Does anyone use class T amps yet? I've been looking at switching to the USAmps 700t, even though it would knock me out of street. I'm really more concerned with attaining a better score overall than winning competitions at this point anyway, and next year the rules will all change again probably so.....

I the sound quality of class T amps up to par with a decent AB? is it better than your average class D? or is the sound quality no better than a class D only minus the switching noise at 200 hz which limits class D amps to low pass applications?

Anyone familiar with the 700t? what impedence should I run it at?

Thanks....

Class T amps are no better than class D (for subs and SPL).People really can't hear the switch or the low single to noise level. If you want pro SQ (not to get mixed up with every day drivers)than maybe the big money spent on class T is worth it. And U.S amp are made to go low 1 ohm or lower is possible.

4ohm mono, and most definitely better SQ out of the amp. it is full range, and has damping (period), unlike your Class D amps. It is basically a highly efficient standard impedence, (as in high voltage 4ohm mono)amplifier. a new design that is low current draw with Sound Q to boot. who want's more..Email me for excellent pricing on the amps. Best Regards, Steve
