I was walking through Sears the other day down in Waldorf, MD and I had a nestalgia attack. On their display rack, next to the MTX Road Thunder, Sony, and Jensen amps were a couple of LA Sound amps. I used to own an LA Sound Malibu 120S in the old s-10. It wasn't the greatest amp in the world, but it pounded that s-10 to Hell and back.
I remember there was an LA Sound car on the IASCA circuit, back when anything but Lanzar, Kicker, and Fosgate was a rarity and HiFonics had just put out the Power of the Gods series. (Fear, there was a pre-Jugg and pre-Stroker era of car audio ) I don't remember how he finished, but he always seemed to do fairly well and held his own.

Well there are alot of LA SOUND amps out there, their amps aren't at all expensive (not always a good thing) but they do have a big lineup of amps. IF you have any Q's about certain ones I can probably help you on the specs of them but as for hearing them I really haven't worked with them yet so write back if you have any q's....

I used to sell LA back about 7 years ago. The amps were okay forthe $$ and the speakers were quite beefy. The lone CD player was an obvious Sony and bit.
