ok...i talked to a guy who says he runs his crossfire 1000ds at 1/2 ohm for daily driving and comps.and he said it does around 1000x2 at 1/2 ohm....but what im wondering is will the amp run ok at 1/2 ohm for daily driving...or will it get too hot? and i will be mounting it under my seat and i will use fans

i ran one of mine that way for a while. keep the gains down, and you'll be fine. i knew it right away if the gain was too high, on a loud note it would clip really hard then shut down for about 2 seconds...not a healthy thing. luckily it only happened 2 times...

oh yeah....hehe, ok...i just noticed on your first post, you said about 1000x2...not exactly, it's only a single channel amp, but it puts out some real good power at 1/2 ohm.

well i know....but u can hook 2 subs up to it...........

dont need anymore posts on this one iv decided to get 2 cfa 602s instead of 1 cfa 1000d...i can get em for about the same price and get an xtra 100 watts per sub
