I've never heard of these, and just kinda stumpled across em. Wouldn't be suprised if somebody's got something good to say about though. Any comments?

Dude, I'm new to AUDIO. Everyday though, I'm learning something new. I consider it a quest from GOD to learn as much as possible, though I have a feeling that I just treaded on sacared ground by saying that I've never heard of Autotek. Hehe, oh well. Try not to hit the face while stoneing me to death, it's how I make my money

Yeppers... They have some Street Machine amps that are entry level but every company has to have an entry level amp and subs... Did you find a particular model you would like to know more about?

Yes. Like the SS500.2 and the SX2200. Are both 1 ohm stable? The ss500.2 says one ohm "capable". I mean, does that mean it can do it for like 34 seconds before catching on fire? Oh yea and the XS400.2 (since there all sround the same price). How does these stack up to the Hifonics Z600 and the PG xs2500. I'm really looking for one these to be the sumits power source (i know, I know, every week a new amp, what can ya do, I'm indessisive.) And I'm not really concered just with wattage if the Crossover Slope is massive (like with the PG).

1ohm stable stereo... The amp will not fry but don't try 1ohm mono! Well out of the ones you picked I would go with the Hifonics Zues Z600 model. The 24db x-over slope in the PG is nice but look at the distortion you get at max output to get that 500watts. What final ohm load are you looking to run? Have you considered MMATS or Memphis class D amps?

I've heard em mentioned hunderds of times...but....no local dealers carry em (around me, but the local RF/PG dealer does carry DEI's), and I can't even find em mentioned online anywhere. The debate on final ohm is either gonna be 2 or 4. I really want flexibiltiy, I want an amp that I can run something like 2 12w3's or maybe some RF DVC's, but when the time comes, I want to be able to swith it up and put the amp in mono, and run just one sub off it. I'm kinna looking for a good amp that I can have two of. I was thinking mono-block style class D's, but that takes away from some of my flexibility (though not really that much). Thanks for the help so far! Any of the links to good priced Mmats of memphis stuff would be much appericated!

I use 2 HC250Mxi amps(old school) and I'm doing 152-153db consistantly. They are very good amps and they are 1 ohm stable and they put out roughly 1000watts. I am selling them for $350 ea. Let me know if interested.
