I've been pretty impressed with the QX series amps, for the price they work good. and take one hell of a beating and keep going, I have a friend running his QX2180 at 2 Ohms driving 2 PG XS 8" subs, he burped a 135 with it. This is however b4 he abused his system to the point of no return "driving the amp that hard on 10ga powerwire kinda killed the power supply"

i had an old QX2100 and it rocked. it was super cheap, sounded fine to me and put out a good 50% more power than it was rated for. i loved mine and would use it for mids right now, but it only has a low-pass x-over and i don't have a seperate x-over...

Well my Amp probably had something wrong with it because I had it at 4 ohm mono and I shut down, I could have fried eggs on it and I only had it on for 35 mins!!!! I was just getting started out then and I had a Pyramid 777 (which to anyone who knows is a beginners amp) Then I jumped at the chance to have a PG amp for $220 so I bought it and it was ever so slightly louder but not worth the price, plus the overheating problem so I returned it... and that was my experience with the amp...
