I'm in the process of trying to decide between these 2 amps :

MTX TE1501D Elite $339
USAMPS MD-2D $319

The car will be a daily driver.

The subwoofer will be :

RE AUDIO 15" SEX
-or-
RE AUDIO 15" SX

I've heard the MD-2D isnt very clean, but I do love USAMPS from my expierence in the past they are GREAT amps, but for my pricerange these are the 2 amps im looking at. I have no expierence with MTX, so I ask you what is a better amp?

What are the Pros and Cons of both.

I am not sure That I would run either of those amps I am sure that there are better amps out there they might cost a little bit more but will no doubt put out rated power on 12 volts. Out of the two subs I would run the SX they are reconable out of the two. which is something to think about or maybe get a pair of Street Fighter Cactus subs and amps?

Any particular reasons against them?

BTW my car is a :

94 Acura Legend LS Coupe
200amp HO Alternator with Upgraded Wiring
(2) Drycell Deep Cycle Batterys
2-Gauge Amp Wiring

The sub box is a huge ported 15" box that takes up the whole trunk.

I am an Audiophile at heart, and I listen to my stereo very loud at times.
