Need some help, I got 8 MTX 1501d's old school I plan on running 2 18 Atomic Subs spl and daily thumping but was told I need to have 16 -16v batts for spl and 8 for thumping could someone help out. I have a Astro strictly dedicated for this thanks for your help.

you'll need more batteries for daily then you do for SPL

I have to retract a statement, I would like to play music in it but still not a daily driver, just demo type and shows when I don't need to burp it

one GOOD battery per amp should be sufficient.
no, not an interstate or diehard. XS Power, Stinger/Odyssey, Kinetik. and I'm figuring at least the group27 size.
Do you have a bigger alternator on there?
