I tested the SD on two factors: power and efficiency
Okay I would like to say, as far as power is concern it is definitely at the top of the league. I test it on my usual g2400 with a nominal load of 0.5 ohms(Street A style). The test went a little something like this:

I found the best frequency which was 60hz on this day, and burped it 5 times results where:

Starting voltage 13.5 on all burps
AC volts 105.5
AC amps 59.3
Watts 6256.2 watts
with a voltage drop of 9.3 at the amp.

Which brings me to my next OPINION: As far as efficiency, it is not the best. It drained my battery so low, waiting 25 seconds after the burp, the car barely started. To circumvent this problem, you can have a second battery connected to the car and a stand alone battery for the amp. However, if you have to charge in the lanes you are screwed. So great power but not very good efficiency. And at idle it drained more current than previous amps. But when let loose, it definitely gives out the power. So this is just my opinion, sometimes efficiency and durability goes hand and hand. It is yet to be seen how well made this amp really is. But I give it an A+ on power but C+ for efficiency!

Can you compare TL results with other amplifiers?

This was the power on my street B

 -

You can see that on the link was 1.2 ohms, so each amp played at 2.4 ohms.

I will bring this down to around 1.5 ohm each amp and I want to see close to 13kW on the car...

the bigger the amp, the higher idle current, any and every time

Also, it drained you battery... well no sh.., you kinda pulled 100 and 100 of amps from it

This has nothing to do with amp itself

First of all, I was asked to do this review, I did not take my personal time to do this on my own adventures. I could have spent my time more efficiently. Secondly, efficiency has a lot to do with the way an amp is built. I have a k9s amp that gave me 5700 watts, but dropped to 10.5 volts. Using the same battery same nominal load, the SD16k gave me a voltage drop down pass 10, 9.3 to be exact and the fvcking voltage kept falling. So with just a 500 watt gain and an over a one volt lost, would you call this amp efficient, I guess not. Stronger than most amps but not efficient. So yes the amp is not efficient, the most powerful amp, but the least efficient.

Congrats again on the test, Ray.

We are pretty happy to have the strongest amp on street classes.

It is a very demanding task for such a strong amp to work from a single 75Ah battery, care to remember that it is not a 12V version or a street special edition, is the same amp used on voltages up to 20V or down to 8V...

This is a very impressive amp. Big power small case and can take 20 volts and go down to 8 volts. That is a lot of power from a single battery. Great job Murilo!

It takes good efficiency to make that kind of power from a single battery.......
