Well, my propose is to work to increase the knowledge of the car sound community. So, let´s work . I received one important question from the teamjujuyspl - Argentina in PM but I would like to explain this information with others. Please teamjujuyspl, permit me
teamjujuyspl , asked me in PM : hello .. I'd like to ask you something very important to me ... if the frequency of the car ever is higher is better to compete in spl? or my car is at 62 hz, but the panda at 78hz .. best frequency is higher or lower frequency? thank you very much and I really like your post!
Answer: Yes, more high the frequency of the car, it´s better. You will have one decrease of consumption of the amplifier and batteries ( More Efficiency ). Increase in the speaker efficiency also and finally one better addition of frequencies inside the car. So , 78Hz is better than 62Hz.

I prefer to not talk about about this but some guys keep spreading lies... I think when you are not 100% into the subject you can´t come to a forum and say bad things. You see, bad things are bad.
The problems regarding that install happened because the amps were playing a bit under 1 ohm, so they were sending each one at least 130A for the coils, so this means 260A each coil, and if you go back and take a look on the coil, and to what mr. dB Don said, all will make sense.
Were 2 amps damaged because we gradually reduced the protection threshold, and this was supposed to happen, I was there also to test the limit of the amp under a 16V VERY STRONG battery bank. The 2 amps were fixed already.
The car is so well built that its impedance rise on the frequency used is VERY LOW, thus needing higher impedance coils to run the amps with all that power.
Mr. Craig is not worried about, he has life-time warranty being part of the Team SD. We also was amazed that those 12kD were the strongest amps he has ever seen, and those are just the 12kD, as soon as we put the 16kD in there, he will reach the 150kW step.
Problems on competition cars happens all the time, mostly because it is supposed to extract the maximum of each component, subwoofers, amplifiers, etc. That is why we have the LIFETIME competitor support.

wow make sure you get the first burp on video because Im very interested to see the amount of magic smoke you consistently get out of them starting at a half and rising to 1.6. I know that starting at 1 and rising to 6.5 they make a ton of smoke so this should be interesting.... Stetsom 14k = Garbage
Could care less what you are interested in or what you think.......

There are failures in every brand, when you are maxing out the components of an amp there are going to be failures........But a knowledgable person like you should know that.Oh by the way my amps are still good to go......in a daily driver....good luck with your 146......

Broken I dont want to argue with you or anyone else on here. I never claimed that I was loud, I just do my best and promote this sport. I have a daily driver as well and I play music in it when I want, burping in the lanes is fun and that is why I do it. As far as someone else building my car WRONG!!!! I built this car sometimes with help most times without. The design is mine every piece of wood every piece of steel was cut and welded or screwed by me. I take suggestions from others but the end result is by me. I believe I could be louder with a different enclosure but would loose the ability to play music and that is first on my prioorities. I didnt even think at the beginning of this year that I would qualify for finals but in the end all the big dogs have backed out. I believe that Beau Beron is going to win at finals not me, but I will be there partying with my friends and will burp these 14k2d's, as i have been since I put them in my car what four months ago. And no problems so far. But Broken if I pop an amp it isnt the end of the world for me, I will send it to have it repaired and go on. Last year at finals yes I did break equipment but not my amps, those DD zzzz's failed. From the power that I was giving them from my Stetsom amps. That are five years old and still in good shape...

Wow, phsycho, it sounds like a bit of jealousy might have got the best of you!!!??? Not sure why you have picked Steve to go after, his build is really good, his numbers are great(you try and do over 160 in SS 1-2 lol) his gear is good, and he is one of the few left that actualy give a crap about db drag and have a good attitude.... unlike yourself. And FYI attacking a certain brand about blowing up is pointless cuz guess what???? THEY ALL BLOW UP!!! No brand is immune at this level, when the gear is running at the ragged edge at this level, there will be failures, any company that says otherwise is full of it, I am sure the repair depots will back me up on that as well. Even the brand you run blows up too, probably at the same rate if you can believe it???

Boom King thanks for the kind words, It is really hard to get a 160+ in any car. Especially in an Xterra as I have a 10" drop off out of my port to the floor. I think if I ever build another car it is going to be one with a flat floor.
