Hi guys! I'm an italian boy that love bass race.
I had a sd8000 (but i have sold it) and now my friend is telling me that a ground zero 10000 (or atomic 7000 or cactus 7000) @ 1ohm teoric goes better that sound digital..
anyone has got some tests with these 2 boards?

There are many different Zenon boards. Some with more guts, some with less so it is hard to say. Some of their 7kw boards have even had less output than other well renowed 5kw boards. Still I know that the SD8000 is a good amp. A good upgrade could be our M1. Which was installed instead of SD8000 in a loud REX

Next to it is our Anno, huge 4 channel class ab reference amp.

After my experience with the Zenon 7kw board I can say I wouldn't touch another one.

I'm sure some are more reliable than those that I used (like the Cactus) but I still wouldn't trust them.

Nice amps B2 audio...

And mr. murilo@soundigital.com.br : That REX was LOUD a long time before you did sell amps to the owner of that REX...
I know this, becouse he are in my team... [Wink]

SuNsHaDoW : NO... It is NOT a 7kw zenon board in any of the amps from B2.
This amps are louder...

We have never chosen any pcb's from Zenon. Not that they are bad from what I have understood, but we chose to be part of the R&D and opted for other solutions.

for me, sd8000 sounds very good, it's very small and efficent but i'd like to buy a new amp.

I want to get a brasilian amp because repare them is more cheaper than a zenon board..

I'd like to get a sd16k (but the price it's too high) or a stetsom 14kd (but i dont know the price)

for me, stetsom is more good sounding of sd8000... on low frequency is more strong [Smile]

sorry for my poor english [Frown]

PS: sd8000 is 1db louder than GZ10000 @1ohm

and sd sounds better than banda...
i know that banda is more powerful than sd, but i want an amp that sounds good! not ot only strong!

Hello Davide, your amp was one of thew first exported, at that time it had a 20Hz -3dB high-pass filter, and after speaking with you and other Italian customers that used the amplifier in a daily basis, we updated the subsonic to have the fade in at 10Hz, so at 20Hz the signal is now at 0dB.

Don´t forget to say here that you run it daily at 0.5 ohms, this can cause problems.

Davide, Davide... you need to run it daily at 1 ohm my friend, the power will be the almost the same.

Get a 12kD, and you will be amazed with the amp (at any voltage among the 8-18V range)

I bought a sd8000 about a year ago because it was the best on the market.
now, if I take again sd, I choose the 16 not the 12! [Big Grin]
