havent been in the scene lately, and wondering cause im lookin at prices for a system for a friend. I had 2 T30001bd's an loved them to death lol...
i seen on ebay (yes i trust them with all the new thing's they have implemented) for the T40001's 800 buy it now, and T30001's for much less....
I see some of these amps at comps ive been too lately that are brand's an models i havent seen, cause of being out of the loop for so long.... any input is appreciated!!! ty
Edit- or what about the 2500d Orion amps...? he wants to go high on price for the amp an get better subs later....
and its all going into a Chevy s10 Extreme

in 2006 I think we did 167+ with 8 T3000 amps in SS1-2 also for music they are fine but don't go to low in impendance and be carefull with voltagedrops

I heard that they dicontinued the T3k because they did closer to 4k, a rumor though

they don't make any of them anymore, and i have 2 t40001 and if you can get them do it, they are monsters.

The original T3000's were putting out 3k + but the efficiency was terrible. A few mods later and they were pushing 4200w on average. I had a few over 4500 @ 1ohm hense, the change to 4000.1
Good solid amps, clean, heat was a non issue due to the footprint however, the footprint was one of it's largest detractors along with inadequate set screws in some of the earlier units. The screws in the top cover were prone to vibration as well.
These amps are dis-continued, the new line is sourced from oversees and I wouldn't say they are in the same class. Smaller, sharp cosmetics, good ergonomics but nothing of note on the inside...

Any older T3000 or Orion 2500d's would be an incredible buy. Very solid amps all the way around and you dont have to go down to retarded ohm loads to get power out of them.
