Hello I've decided that I want to run 2 12 inch Kicker CVXs in my car, now I just need help picking out the amp. I was going to go with the Kicker ZX1500.1 but is there anything better out there I can go with that is also budget friendly?

I have yet to get the subs so I can get either the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm ones.

how are the Hifonic amps?
I was looking into the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2010D
here are the specs:
Type: Mono Block
1-Ohm Power Rating 1x2000
2-Ohm Power Rating 1x1300
4-Ohm Power Rating 1x650
1-Channel Mono-Block Operation
Super D-Class Amplifier Topography
Ultra-Fi MOSFET Outputs
Illuminated Hifonics Logo
PWM MOSFET EXVP (Exponential Vari-Power Supply)
SPC-Twin Turbo-Torroids with Simpatico Coil Design
Fully Adjustable Accu Cross Crossovers include:
- 24 dB Subsonic Filter (Adjusts 15 Hz to 35 Hz)
Phase Shift Adjustments, (0 to +180-Degrees)
24 dB Low-Pass Crossover (Adjusts 35 Hz to 250 Hz)
Bass Boost: Variable Bass Equalization (+ 10dB @ 45 Hz)
Remote Bass Control Included
Balanced Line INputs w Optional Hifonics MM-BLD1
Gold RCA Line Outputs:
Permit Amplifier Daisy-Chaining
(0.2v to 9-volts Signal Level)
4-Guage Power Connectors
Dimensions: 14.97" x 2.52" x 9.45"

any help would be appriciated with amp suggestions

Uhmm, I do own a pair of Kicker cvx12" sub and i power it by Kicker zx 2500.1 That hifonics' amp you choose would be good choice if you're on the budget. I did get an amp that's under-rated. The sundown 3000 would be good for it. I know it little over than the Kicker RMS but as long you set the gain right. You will be alright.

If you do get an amp that's 1 ohm stable get the 4 ohm KIcker sub. Wire it parrallel. It really didn't matters what ohm sub you get. It just depend if the amp's capable of handling that load.
