I'm looking for a big amp for daily music that makes 5k or better on 12v. Considering a jbla6000gti but I wanted to know what other options I might have. Is there anything else out there that would give me good control and around the same output? Maybe something a little bit smaller? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

stetsom 5k and 7k also good on music and cheaper than cactus amp.

The cactus amps look good and I've been considering a 7k I'm just worried about repair. I don't know where I would have to send the amp if I ever have a problem. The stetsoms I've never really heard anything about as far as music but I've seen some people using them and they seem like they do ok. Repair is a concern with them too though. Anything I would have to send to ohio amp repair center I wouldn't even consider. I've had a bad experience with them before.

Oddly enough I've never dealt with maxxsonics directly, I have a XX hercules laying around and I've never had any issues with it. It has been a good amp to me. I ran it on a 9515g for a while and it did very well. I'm glad you mentioned hifonics I hadn't even thought about them.

I have been using the Stetsom line for 4.5 years daily for music and have no complaints.......use the origional 7kd's for over four years and now using the 14k2d's no issues so far.Still Marylands loudest daily driver.... We are currently looking for a new repair facility in US i have submitted 5 locations to Brazil, the choice is theirs not mine. It is fortunate that SD has Murilo in north america to do the repairs on their amps, looks like he may have to file for dual citizenship for all the warrenty work.....but what happens if he has to go back to Brazil??????

How about the CS K5? PS. Yes we have a amp repair station in USA. Only thing we don't realy have too much work for them.....hahaha

I just picked up a Cactus Sounds 5kw myself. I replaced a Memphis 4kw. Today is the first day with the Cactus and so far I'm loving it. Sounds very nice.

My only problem with american bass stuff is another shop in town carries they're product. Also when I say 5k+ I just mean 5k would be the minimum so any other amps above 5k even if its 12 or 15k I'm just looking at all the possibilities as long as it sounds good daily on music. I feel like I'm overlooking some good amps. I was dead set on a DD Z2LV but seeing as how they're almost impossible to get and they have no warranty now I'm looking at other options. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

Lol.. Then you should look into the new K9s. Its the Street version of the K9.
