For sure the amp is what it is i have done lots of testing with mine and im happy the amp is well built and will do everything Murilo says it will all i have to say is don't Knock them till ya try them and I have tried many amps and this is by far one of the best amps that i have played with Just think of it this way you can get built production and 1 out of every 1000 is tested or ya can get a quality hand built spend a lil more and know that everyone is tested from start to end.

I know what i would get and for what ya can get for true power its well worth every cent spent and for the reliably its about 90% bullet proof. the other 10% is carelessness so if your good with your stuff this is a sick amp.

To get 14k on a 8k amp at 1.7 ohm on a amp that makes it ratted power at 1 ohm well i would say that's sick.

I was hoping some one can help me? I was at a show this past weekend and seen theses 12ks and an 8000 at work!! can you tell me what ohm load (after rise) and what voltage you can see rated power out of these amps? After seeing an undisclosed clamped power output from the 12k and watching the 8000 go up in smoke? not sure what to think about the product? I am not saying that this is bad equipment but people can say anything to sell a product and from what I have seen this weekend I was not impressed in a real world test? i am sure that this was an isolated case but can some one post some actula test results with voltages and apms for there power ratings? I think that this could be a strong product and would like to learn more about the product line? thank you for your help

i got 10431 watts at .5 rising to 2.20 ohm. it was 151.4v and 68.9 amps ac and 162.6. in craigs van it was 100v 140amps of current for 14000 watts. he was at .25 ohm and rising to .72 which was too low. we may have gotten more out of it at .35, i'm sure i could have in the jeep. it's still one of if not the strongest amp i've ever tested.

Hello, we would never sell an amp weaker than we rate it, and to do so we always underrate the amps. SD12kD is capable of 12kW at 12.6V and more than 18kW at 16V.

I play mine daly Jim @ 1.7 in my b setup with rise. At the amp im at .5 Whats the rise you see in your b set up if your above 1ohm you should not have a prob as long as you rise to one ohm the amps need venting they have internal fans and as long as air can get at them they will be fine.

There are people bass racing these amps. I was told there is no warranty running them below 1 ohm but thats ok since they seem to do the best at 1 ohm. And when I say 1 ohm I mean before box rise.

I don't state that measurment unless specifically asked. Your going to blow alot of amps trying to run the amp daily at .25 ohm just to get your rise to 1 ohm.

Murilo is hard to get ahold of because he is working on a van for this weekends 2x in Winnipeg.

I here ya on that .25. These amps make real nice power at 1.8 - 1.2 ohms with rise i know the 8k in our test was doing 14k + on 16 volts at 1.7with rise. [Wink]

I'm in Toronto driving back to Winnipeg, no Internet.

Don you know that .25 will be 1 ohm only after a 4x Imp rise (usually 2.5 to 3 on vented boxes) and at some freqs, if the guy wire the amp at .25 and try to play music it won't be clever.
