First off I like to say, I received the amp with a quick turn around time, Christoph answered all my questions and returned everyone of my phone calls. Excellent customer service.

I know with all you spl, caraudio, amp testing gurus out there, what I have so far may not be good enough. However I am putting it out there anyway. I just did a partial test with the CS Elite 12. This was simply an SPL test. Put it this way, with one 99z12 (in my opion, the baddest 12 on the planet), one NSBg-3100 with the elite 12, I broke a 155, consistanly!!! Will be doing power testing today. Stay tuned! If not me, with this amp and DD subs, I predict some serious numbers this season!!! [Wink]

Nice numbers..

I love my CS Elite 12. I still have to try out my new enclosure, and do some testing. But I am sick as fawk right now. And I have to head out to SBN this weekend, and I still have not even done a single test.

Are you heading down to SBN this year?

So here re some power readings:

One 12" nominal load 0.25 ohms + one NSBg-3100
box rise 0.85 ohms
voltage drop 9.8
72.3 volts
85.2 amps
6159.96 watts.

Still consistanly getting over 155 dbs.
This amps has a lot left in it, my head unit shuts down. So based on that, this is a hellafide amp!!!

Now all you street A guys, from my testing, I know there is only a 0.3db difference from the NSB group 3100 and the group 2700 batts, with one amp. So I would predict this amp may make power between 5500 to 5750 watts. But remember this is only an estimate. I could be very wrong!!

Descent power numbers. That is more than we are getting from the 1000.1 at 1ohm

And on top of it he still has to test at .5ohms to see if efficiency is in effect. He may do same power at .5ohm but gain some efficiency. Who knows. But a good start.

Looks like once Ray get's all wires and everything set up right the elite 12 will probably peak around 6700-7000w being run at .25ohms dropping his NSBG 3100 into the mid to low 9's. Still not as much as europe gets from same amp but more then most people get from two amps here in the states. lol

But why is he running it on a g3100 that isn't good for street a and I have the feeling he isn't going to run two off one batt in street b

Cuz he's running B this year. And since it's pretty much same power as two cs 5k's he'll probably only run one elite 12. But with Ray you never know what he'll run. lol

Well at 0.5 ohms on an Elite 12 is not its optimum impedance. I gained on efficiency but not power.

voltage drop to 10.6 no HU shut off.

80.3volts
60.6 amps
4866.2 watts

So the money spot for the Elite 12k is between 0.25 - 0.375 ohms. So 0.25 ohms it is.

I am running b this year, but I need a certified score in A, just in case. So I decided to run A at SBN. But there goes my good score. I have to drop battery power down to the group 2700 battery. Hope it works out for me!
