How much power did you get running at 1/16?
I tried a single 7kd at .175ohms on a single CS9000 (still under powered) and the click before it went into protect was 6200w. But I don't recommend this impedance at all. I was just being stupid to see what it would do. [Smile]

Well with one in Jesse Segiers ride this weekend we did a 157.1 with just one on a well supplied system at .5

In my ride im trying different coils and so far everything i seen with the amp i liked But My cd skipping prob. That will be fixed in the next few weeks. but the amps will go down to .245 daily if you can supply battery and be able to maintain it. Do i suggest it no.

Is this a good thing to do if you don't know what your doing NO but can it do it yup. i like the 7kd and cant wait to demo out the 8kd I know a lot of guys up here that want to see this amp and the new 1kd.

unfortunately i didnt clamp the amps but they did about 1/3 volume before they went into protect. i was doing a 158 with two amps. that was in daytona this year. i also dont reccommend this impedience for burp but these amps can take it, i have found that a strapped pair like 1/2 ohm impedience for burp,i seem to be able to get most of my volume before i get into voltage drop, i wish i had more room in my car for more batteries, i think these amps are BAD AZZ and am proud to be part of TEAM STETSOM USA, the support from Brazil is excellent and the people are good friends as well, thanks Hugo, Marcellas, Marie, Paulino and Alan... you guys ROCK!!!!!!!

Hey Alan, I have a competitor over here who is running your 7k and 2 9515's off of an oddsey 2700. He has the subs in 2 sealed boxes and is doing a 43. He to is from Brazil, He also might be intrested in becoming a dealer for stetsom, can ya help him out with a setup? I told him to contact you, since your both from the same country there should not be any communication problems. He's a real nice guy but new to the DB Drag game. how can he contact you? almost forget, he's in SS 1~2.

I would be interested in seeing what they are fused at. I know a couple folks were complaining about blowing a normal regulated fuse in these amps. As if they were fuses marked 200 amp but actual 400 amp for example. I have heard this from a few people too.

Fuse rating doesn't really mean much when it comes to fuses. I've used 80amp fuses that hold 300amp and used 300amp fuses that hardly hold 200amps. So it really depends on the company that makes the fuse on how well the fuse holds amperage.
Stetsom uses almost an industrial style fuse that looks like it could be used for comercial buildings electricial system or such. It's like any other fuse with it's rating but the fuses Stetsom uses are made of thicker copper compared to other similar rated car audio fuses.

This is the style stetsom uses. You can't compare them to a cheap car audio fuse. These will hold twice as much amperage vs. a similiar rated cheap car audio fuse
