I have tested the atomic 5000 at 19v for burps but will this amp handle 19v daily? what is the worst case scenario? and will this high voltage shorten the life of the amp?

I asked directly to atomic customer service what was the overvoltage cut out and they told me that the amp was set to protect at 20v. Kinda high.

a better question is why would you ever want to run it at 19volts daily? Daily driving just doesn't need that much power

I know I dont need the power, You see, I have a three post kinetik 16v and Im using the 12v posts to run the electrical on the car, but the 12v doesnt get to 13v unless the 16v post is at 19v.

i would not run it daily so high because you are from Puerto Rico unless you have spare amps kicking around as you will have to ship it back for the board to be repaired . They can burp no problem at that voltage at 19 volts because the extreme guys have done it. It is entirely up to you but if i was to run 19v all day i would not have it cranked all the way up. Half way should be good

Do you think working it at 2 ohms would be oK?, I never go up more than 3/4 of the volume. Sick loud at 3/4
