Well I did a test in a vehicle at a comp with two 9512's and two M3 amps we did a 149.9 using a streat beater box after putting in the 12 volt Stetsom 7KD we hit a 151.9. I would definitaly say this amp is the most powerful 12 volt amp on the market. Also this test was using only 1 Batcap 2000 battery.

I actually had 4 crowns in my street max 3-4 van for 4 years and know exatcly what those are capable of. Honestly the crowns were great amps and they brought us many world championships but they are not as loud as the 12 volt 7KD's. We did many head to head test with the crowns against the DD Z1a's and the 7KD beats them both out.

Brian, aka bjenks, I'm usually at mobile millenia from time to time, I heard great things about the new crunch, and Im tryin to get my hands on one. Sorry not tryin to jack the thread, someone wants to know who this is, who is the Mojo man. I've seen the Cadillac truck when it had the MT's and the mojo amps in it I think.

^^this is lee lane. i worked at supreme audio when i did the caddy. i live about 40 minutes from you. ill be in greenville soon visiting a few shops. mobile should ask mike barfield, he tested the crunch amp. if i remember right it did right descent.

id believe that since the 12v stetsom puts out over 6500 at 10-11 volts, the jbl needs at least 12.5 to do that power, the only thing that blows is that the 12v stetsom wont accept any voltage over 13.8, or it goes into protect,its a burp amp,that is mega efficient, the 16v stetsom model which is the more streetable daily driver version would be a better match for the jbl since the jbl can take 15.3v before it cuts off, the 12v version stetsom is going to be really hard to beat since it puts out mega power in the 9.5-13.5v range what other amp gives 6kw @ 9.5 volts ...none that i know of

how did the crown do against the z1 a s, i have to know and at what voltage, i have owned numerous crown amps, just sold 2 of them

so ur telling me the 12v version wont run on a 12v system alot of cars run up to 15v when cold then settle down to 14.4v...

We tested the 12 volt 7KD in the jeep playing everyday music for over and hour and it had no problems what so ever. Keep in mind this vehilce does not have a high output alternator do the voltage did not climb above 13.2

my 12 volt 7kd has a sticker on it saying the voltage shouldnt exceed 13.3 or 13.8 cant remember

exactly, the 12v 7kd will not accept over 13.8, it was designed to put out @ 9.5-13.5 volts, the 16v version is the daily driver version, that having said the 12v version will be near impossible to beat cause of the 6500 + at mid 10 volts most amps cut off at that voltage,that amp is quite incredible from what ive seen,i would love to see this amp in street class with a battery holding 13.5v it will cream all over other amps because of its design, it literally pumps mad volume @ 10-11 volts, most amps would sound doo doo at that voltage not this one, thats why i said the 12v vs the crown would kind of be a wash of a competiton cause the crown will take 15.3v.....now set a crown up at that voltage, and a 7kd 16v at 16v, and you may have one of the closest head to head amp tests ever, i think im gonna try it

i would say hands down to the CS PFK9s saw 4 running off 1 CS9000 at 0.35 each with a voltage drop to only 9.6v at 0.25 they also did run but the voltage drop was a litle lower
