Topic: Ma Audio HK4000d @ 1ohm...
So this amp is modded to run below 2 ohms. Says 3600 @ 2 ohms on 14.4v..what kind of power can i expect running it at 1 ohm on a 12v set up?

3600-3800 per scottie Johnson. At an actual 12v will be less.Team FatStig

depends how many batterys you have? this amp wont survive long on a stock battery and alt...

better get a MIN of 1 more battery in the rear and that wont be enough battery for daily drivein just burps...

well when money allows i'll be getting a couple 2400's so that should be enough.

i had one ma HK4000d , a pair of yellow tops 3 runs of 1/0 and a excessive amperage 300amp alt amp wired at 2ohms . tested at 14.4v made just under 3500w, at 12.6v made only 1900w-2400w
