I have seen these pics already. I'm interested in PCB and power supply.

I had to dig up the prototype for you since I can't open a stock model for pics. Sorry for the delay. [Big Grin]

Do these by any chance have anything in common with the new GenXXV line? [Smile]

We recommend 250amps of fusing within 12" of the battery.

Really nice amp! I suppose it is twice longer than my bxi1606d. After this baby I wanna have only Hifonics amps in my trunk. I hope to see the dimensions of 2607d and test results (12.5v, 14v, different loads and DISTORSION), I believe I'm not alone. I plan to use 2 2607, because of the sub (1+1 ohms).

what are the dimensions of 2607? What is the real power @12.5v @different loads and distorsion? And one more question: why bxi2607d is rather cheaper than xxv series amps? For example XXV Colossus is around 750$ and 2 bxi2607d would be the same, may be a bit more expensive than colossus. Are there any reasons to prever XXV instead Brutus?

If you are trying to choose between 2 BXi's or one XXV then get the XXV. The XXV line will do closer to rated power than the BXi line will. So let's say you need 2000 watts if you get an XXV rated for that you will get the power but if you want to run a BXi you will need one rated for 2200-2500 to get an actual 2000RMS if you understand that.
