i'ma bout to get 2 Atomix Apx18.. maybe the apxx18 but we'll see soon.
this is gonna be my daily, no burps at all but want it to hurt lol

i was thinking maybe 1 big amp or 2.
i was thinking about staying with atomic and doing a single 5000.1 or maybe 7000.1 depending on the price.

then i just started thinking about kicker 2500.1's...

what do yall have in mind?

Lemme sum up what you'll be hearing:

Maybe RD Audio (It'd be good because you already like Atomic. . .)

American Bass, 400.1's are good, have heard lots of good about the 500.1's, 700.1 would be fun too.

For 6kw daily, you could do 6 Earthquake 10K's. (lol)

3 or 4 of the Kicker 2500.1's would be fun.

Maybe 2 SS 6500's

I'm sure I'm missing a couple, but that's just summing a couple of 'em up.

Hey 3.2, shoot me an email. I can give you a great deal on a Super Heavyweight and RD 3250.1 or 5750.1. Can build a musical SHW, or bass race version for ya.

ONE soundstream 6500 would be enough too hurt you trust me.even on 14 volts its enough! if u then become used to it, up the amp up too 16 volts ud get over 6000rms for sure out the amp then. only reason im considering another is because i won't be upgrading to 16 volts soon. and 2 amps in my case would be better.

Dude, your gonna hear all kinds of suggestions but I gotta tell ya, 3500 to a per 18? ya may have to do better then that. Just don't get no crapy amp. 18's take up a lot of space and heavy as f**k! 1 apx 18 and 2 atomic 5k's would be nice.hehehe or just 1 5k would be good for a daily.

What every you buy, just have enough power to push it, and batts to back it up.

i really care less about the weight.. i drive a tahoe... so far i'ma go with 2 apx18's with a single atomic 7000.1 or Stetsom 7KD
ronnie is doing 4 atomic 18's... i don't need all that.. 2 should be more than enough for me daily

The GP3000D-PRO amps are extremely powerful, very, very efficient and even more importantly, there rugged and can take a beeting.

Just ask Jay, they won't even get pregnant [Big Grin]

The MM4000's will do the job (that is what I was using!!)But the new GP3000's will hold their own. I can't speak much on the due to the fact that I have not used them but, My teammates are all over them! either amp will do great.

There aren't many coils on the market that can take the heat 3000 watts puts out for an extended length of time.

Your going to have to go with a nice amp to keep the signal clean enough not to kill the woofer.

I personally run the Autotek MM 3000ds

I'm VERY picky about my equipment and I havn't had one complaint about these amps

But again, 3kw per woofer for a trip around town is probobly gonna make any sub get stinky

as for ronnie, he's never going to run anything, he's always WAY too busy deciding what to run to ever get any of it  isn't that right ronnie? build is MUCH more important than the gear going in it, if it is indeed good quality gear he's considering, and he should be building his build around a box for 4 18"s and worry about which ones later... by the time he's done deciding he'll have choices for gear all over because it'll be next year [Razz] sorry ronnie someone had to say something with all the CAPS this vs that threads you run [Embarrassed] [Big Grin]
