The full range amps are excellent sounding amplifiers.
They have our newest pre-amp section used on our most expensive amplifiers.

Well the amp is rated at 3000 watts with less than 1% THD so it's impressive that it can push 4300 watts with 10% THD, it should indicate that the internal components are overbuilt.

I've heard good things about GP subs but how are the main speakers and component sets? There are also the GT-S and GT-R line, how do they stack up to other more expensive speakers?

Less then 1% THD & N is fantastic for a D-Class amp at any level and 3400 watts is also fantastic.
The advertised powwer rating is 3000 watts but most test at 3400 watts [Big Grin]

No one pays attention to what any amp can do at 10% THD but the point I think was that these amps can produce a sh_t load of power and not break.

The GP subs are probably one of the best power per buck sub out there but the best thing is the dependability of the subs.
Maybe some guys that use and abuse these can jump in and tell you how much abuse these things handle.

The GTS and GTR speakers are really inexpensive but the sound quality is good.
The GTR are OEM 90% fit low profile speakers and the GTS are full size.

Ground Pounder speakers will be out in a couple months.

I finally roasted my GP 12s after a FULL YEAR of beating on them with an IA 20.1 and now the GP 3000d

Not to bad for a cheap sub that is only rated 600 rms. [Wink] Best bang for the buck sub I have ever had

If you can get the voltage up the amp will make much more. By just starting the car and using the high amp alternator (starting at 16.1 volts and dropping to 12.3volts), the 3000 made 3732 watts. That's crazy isn't it. THAT'S NOTHING! I hooked it up to a 16volt battery set up and it just went crazy! With the battery voltage dropping to 15.7 volts with a 1.4 ohm reactive this monster made 4640 usable watts. NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT!

You simply need to contact Mike Stiers at mikes@maxxsonics.com

You may be pleasantly surprised.
These are fantastic $ per watt amps and they have done really well for every one that has used them.

Can you run the 2500d at .5ohms for daily/burping. And what kind of power would it do at that load, on just an upgraded battery up front and a 140 amp alt?
